It has now been learned that the Korean giant has developed a proprietary processor – W930 – that will form the basis of future news. This was learned from the certificate in the Bluetooth database.

Interestingly, the W930 model number is linked to previous Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5 series based on the W920 chip.

The W930 will support Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi and will be manufactured on a 5nm process, similar to Samsung’s current wearables.

But earlier insiders had reported that they are using another model in the Galaxy Watch 6 – W980. What happened to him? Perhaps this was a temporary name and the last chip will be named W930.

Another less likely version is that the W980 is a high-end processor still in development. At least, the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro will use the W980, while the Watch 6 will use the W930.
