According to the ZaTelecom Telegram channel, the problems started on December 15, 2024 and continue to this day.
Now difficulties with downloading video arise not only on PCs, but also on most smartphones and tablets, including mobile Internet users.
Many people complain that the YouTube app does not work properly on both iOS and Android. For some users, the service has stopped working completely: the home page does not load and videos are not accessible.
Previously, the Ministry of Digital Development stated that more than half of Russian YouTube users have already switched to domestic platforms such as VK Video and RuTube.
But the slowdown at the largest video hosting service continues to cause dissatisfaction among remaining viewers.
