As the publication notes, US President-elect Donald Trump’s proposal to create a “strategic bitcoin reserve” has caused a stir and may influence other countries that will also want to create similar reserves.

Nations are racing to become the first country to integrate Bitcoin into their financial system alongside traditional assets such as gold, foreign currencies and government bonds. Creating a strategic reserve would not only strengthen Bitcoin’s status as a global reserve asset, but could also impact the global economy and geopolitics, Forbes said.

The publication also predicts that the world’s largest IT companies, including Apple, Microsoft and Google, will begin to place their capital in bitcoins. This measure has become more attractive thanks to new regulations to regulate cryptocurrencies.

Furthermore, according to Forbes, the growth of stablecoins such as Tether and Circle will continue in 2025, and their total value will more than double, exceeding $400 billion.

The capitalization of the entire cryptocurrency market, which this year reached a record of $3.8 trillion, will exceed $8 trillion next year, according to the publication. He explained that the influx of talented developers into the crypto industry will lead to the creation of new services that will attract millions of new users.
