Ibiden is currently building a new facility in Gifu Prefecture that will begin operating at 25% capacity by the end of 2025 and reach 50% capacity by March 2026. But this may not be enough. Clients are already interested in more investment plans.
Ibiden’s share of AI-related sales currently exceeds 15% of its total revenue of ¥370 billion ($2.3 billion) and is expected to grow further.
