It is designed to improve performance in 4K gaming and supports Frame Rendering and Anti-Lag 2 features.

FSR 4 will only be available on Radeon RX 9070 graphics cards equipped with third-generation AI acceleration cores.

This limitation raises questions about the technology’s compatibility with more affordable cards like the RX 9060. AMD has not yet announced whether FSR 4 will work on devices with RDNA3.

Currently, the only game confirmed to support FSR 4 is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The announcement coincides with NVIDIA’s preparations to introduce DLSS 4, which increases the competition between companies in the field of graphics technologies.
