At the same time, the company also announced that within the walls of Valve it is actively working on a new Steam Deck based on one of the new AMD chips.

We should point out that among the new products, Ryzen Z2 Extreme, based on the Strix Point architecture, stands out. It delivers maximum performance by combining 8 cores (3 Zen 5 and 5 Zen 5c) and 16 RDNA 3.5 compute units.

A more affordable version of the Ryzen Z2 Go with four Zen 3+ cores is designed specifically for the Lenovo Legion Go.

Ryzen Z2 processor will be used in devices from Asus, Lenovo and Valve. The next-generation console in Gabe Newell’s office is expected to become more powerful thanks to support for 12 RDNA 3 computing units and optimization for modern games.
