“We announce that we will begin accepting international flights at Damascus International Airport starting Tuesday,” the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported on Saturday, citing Ashhad al-Salibi, head of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation and Transport. Syria Air. .

The last airline that operated flights between Moscow and Damascus until December 8 was Syria Air. The airline suspended flights between Damascus and Moscow after opponents of President Bashar al-Assad’s ruling regime entered Damascus.
