Shortly after this, Pogrebeshny received a call from an alleged FSB officer saying his money was under threat. The e-athlete was offered to withdraw all his savings and transfer them to his secure account via the Mirpay application. Under stress and pressure, Evgeniy followed the scammers’ instructions and transferred 590 thousand rubles.

Later, when everything calmed down and the situation became clear, Pogrebeshny realized that he had been deceived. He realized that the man who introduced himself as Antonyan was a fraudster and that the whole story was part of an elaborate scam.
