Starting January 13, Finam will charge a commission of up to 3% for withdrawals of dollars, euros and Kazakh tenge from a brokerage account to all banks. This is stated in a message from the company that its clients received on January 9. The notice is available to RBC Investments.

The company’s call center operator noted in a conversation with RBC Investments that there will be no commission for processing orders when withdrawing dollars and euros to Finam Bank. When withdrawing money to an external bank, the commission will be 0.3% of the amount withdrawn, but not less than 30 dollars nor more than 150 dollars, in the case of euros, not less than 30 euros and no more than 250 euros.
Now the commission for withdrawing dollars and euros to a third-party bank account is 0.3% of the amount withdrawn, as established by the current version of the Finam regulations. For dollars, this amount must be at least 30 dollars and no more than 150 dollars, for euros – at least 30 euros and no more than 250 euros.
In addition, when withdrawing another foreign currency, Finam now charges a commission of 0.07% of the withdrawn amount, but not less than an amount equivalent to 25 euros and not more than an amount equivalent to 100 euros at the Bank of Russia exchange rate on the day the withdrawal is executed.
Additionally, starting January 13, the company will begin charging fees for storing dollars and pounds sterling in a brokerage account. In both cases, when storing up to 10 thousand monetary units there will be no charge, from 10 thousand to 100 thousand it will be 10% per year, more than 100 thousand – 6% per year.
In early December 2024, Finam canceled the 5% commission for withdrawing yuan from a brokerage account, which had been in effect since September. The company’s call center operator clarified that currently RMB can only be withdrawn to Finam Bank, but no commission is charged for either withdrawal or order processing.
