At the same time, entrepreneurs from “hostile” countries registered companies 60% less often than before the introduction of sanctions against Russia. Since the beginning of 2022, the owners of this group have registered more than 600 new companies in Russia, 86% of legal entities belong to representatives of EU countries.

SPARK-Interfax experts also announced the “completion of the process of active deauthorization of Russian companies”: registrations of legal entities from offshore zones (Republic of Seychelles, British Virgin Islands, Belize) decreased by 72%. In 2020-2021, entrepreneurs of offshore companies registered five times more companies in Russia than in the last two years.
