Rumors of an Apple car have been around since 2015 (when he created Project Titan), and the project has transformed over the years. From a conventional electric car, it has become an autonomous and electric car, and the latest news we have is that it is expected to be shown to the world in 2025.

We leave you with the following article, in which we explain the various research points and the changes that have been made over the years.

We recently learned that the project appears to have been shelved. “The Apple Car project team has been disbanded for a while. A reorganization in the next three to six months is necessary to achieve the goal of mass production in 2025,” explained analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

The car project is currently overseen by Kevin Lynch.who also oversees the Apple Watch and health software teams, and John Giannandrea, Apple’s head of machine learning, which includes hundreds of former engineers from Tesla and other automotive companies.

Now, however, to everyone’s surprise, we have come across the news, according to Bloomberg, that Apple has hired one of Lamborghini’s chief car development directors, Luigi Taraborrelli. This can only mean one thing: the project is ongoing and stronger than ever.

This, besides his 20+ years of experience, claims that he is passionate about technology, which is why this company is more than in demand. Logically, his LinkedIn profile states that he left the company in May of this year.

This is how Ford’s robotic electric vehicle charger works

The truth is He’s not the first major figure in the automotive world he’s hired.. Earlier this year, Apple hired 31-year-old Ford Motor veteran Ulrich Krantz, former head of BMW’s electric vehicle division, and former Tesla boss Stuart Bowers, head of Autopilot.

Apple has big ambitions to create car without steering wheel and pedals, instead betting on fully autonomous technology, so we’ll see if 2025 is finally the date we get to see this creation. It currently requires the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to launch it with these features.
