In order to protect minor users, for example, children under 14 years of age, from all dangers, an age limit for using social networks can be introduced.

According to the deputy, “pedophiles and other perverts are looking for their victims” on social networks, and “anti-Russian propaganda is carried out there.”
Khamitov is confident that introducing an age limit on social networks provides many advantages. He noted that “a child can get useful information and insight from other sources, such as educational resources and books.”
