Microsoft has announced that it will end support for Office apps on Windows 10 on October 14, 2025.

Microsoft 365 Apps will no longer be supported on Windows 10 devices after October 14, 2025. To continue using the Microsoft 365 app on your device, you will need to upgrade to Windows 11.

The end of support doesn’t mean Office will stop working on Windows 10. However, the company warned that there may be “performance and reliability issues” over time.

These changes are aimed at getting users up to speed on Windows 11, or making their device boot faster if upgrading doesn’t help. Support for Windows 10 will also end on October 14, 2025. [The Verge]
