Wildberries employees began complaining about searches at sorting centers that required them to strip to their underwear. Vedomosti writes about this referring to complaints from employees of the Sofiino logistics technology park in one of the sector’s Telegram chats.

Judging by reports, new standards were introduced at the Wildberries warehouse in the Moscow region in early January 2025.
A representative of the joint company Wildberries and Russ (RVB LLC) told the newspaper that an inspection would be carried out in this regard. He noted that these searches can be carried out “with the participation of law enforcement” if there are suspicions of crimes. This is done to control the introduction of prohibited items into the company’s warehouses and sorting centers, such as lighters, sharp objects, weapons and liquids of unknown composition, the press service explained.
This is not the first time Wildberries employees have complained about searches. In June 2022, the Baza Telegram channel published a video in which employees of the Podolsk warehouse were forced to strip naked. The management wanted to fight theft in this way, the channel reported.
