According to the study, IT companies (13%), representatives of the construction sector (12%), as well as logistics companies and organizations that provide services to businesses and the public (11% each) intend to automate hiring.

According to almost a quarter of employers surveyed, it is the lack of automation of human resources processes that causes difficulties in recruiting staff. As Marina Khadina, Director of Recruitment CRM Development at Talantix, explained, new technologies increase the efficiency of the HR department by an average of 30%.

Automation of human resources processes, according to respondents, is necessary, first of all, in the hotel and restaurant business (33%), mining and mineral processing (29%) and retail trade (27%). At the same time, the lack of automation of personnel processes in medium and large companies is felt more strongly (30% and 26% each) than in small companies (23%).

Last year, HR automation was most frequently implemented by midsize companies with a workforce of 501 to 1,000 people; 17% of these companies rated the digitalization of human resources processes as one of the main successes of the past year. In small (101 to 500 people) and large (more than 1000 people) companies, only 15% of employers automate hiring, in small companies – 10%.

Companies are turning to new HR technologies amid growing talent shortages. The shortage of specialists in the field of information technologies in the Ministry of Digital Development is estimated between 500,000 and 700,000 employees. Against this background, Russian companies began to hire more IT specialists from India and Pakistan, writes RB.RU based on data from hh.ru.

More than 50% of employers consider non-market salaries to be the main reason for staff shortages. The problem of low salaries is felt most acutely in the fintech and IT sectors: 65% and 60% of companies, respectively, chose this area as the reason for staff shortages.

As a study by the World Economic Forum (WEF) showed, the development of artificial intelligence will help create 170 million new jobs in the world by 2030. At the same time, about 22% of vacancies and specialties will be eliminated, analysts predicted.
