The project begins with the participation of OpenAI, SoftBank, Oracle, as well as other large companies such as Microsoft and NVIDIA.
The initiative will create more than 100,000 jobs and strengthen the United States’ position in the global technology race, where China remains its main rival.
Data centers and research campuses will be built across the country, with the first facilities breaking ground in Texas.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman expressed his satisfaction, noting that such a large-scale project was only possible in the United States. SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son added that the development of artificial intelligence will have an impact not only in business but also in solving global problems.
