OpenAI Introduces AI agent Operator powered by ChatGPT.
The operator can access the Internet and interact with sites through the built-in browser. For example, he can be called to a hotel room. It uses the GPT-4o language model and “sees” information through screenshots. To interact with sites, the Operator uses a keyboard and mouse, which requires a special API from the sites.

Access to the “research premium version” of the Operator is now open to ChatGPT users with a Pro subscription for $200 per month.
