On average, in gaming scenarios the increase is around 20%, but in synthetic tests the difference is even larger.

Main results:

  • In the Fire Strike (1080p) test, the RTX 5090 outperformed the RTX 4090 by 39% and scored 101,767 points.
  • Time Spy (1440p) achieved a 33% performance increase, with the RTX 5090 scoring 48,732 points.
  • The most notable increase is seen in Port Royal (1440p); RTX 5090 beats RTX 4090 by 40% with 36,673 points.

These results confirm that the RTX 5090 not only delivers more power, but also becomes more versatile in terms of higher resolutions and ray tracing.

But for most users, the increase in actual games may be less noticeable. Official investigations will reveal even more details.
