To search for a video, it is enough to identify the content by noting important objects, background and some details; for example, “a fisherman with a big catfish” or “a man on roller skates”. You can also define camera viewing angles. All of this is recognized by Adobe’s AI model.
At the same time, the “smart” search is not yet suitable for recognizing voice in video content and does not help find specific people, but it recognizes video metadata and can find videos by shooting date or camera model. As Adobe notes on its blog, the new functionality does not require a network connection because the AI runs directly in the application.
