This applies to the main frequency ranges used by MTS, Beeline, Megafon and T2, said Forbes, the head of the department of Geyser-Telecom LLC, Maxim Sagitarius.

“We are talking about blocking the network at the request of authorized organisms. In the case of blocking specific basic stations or network segments, the provision of communication services in this frequency range in this territory becomes impossible, ”said Andrei Zolotarev, commercial director of the CKRCH, CKRCH’s decision.

The Megafon representative declared in a conversation with Forbes that such requirements “have been contained for a long time in the link legislation.” According to him, in the cases provided by law, the operator can limit the operation of electronic equipment. These restrictions, the representative said, should not negatively affect the loyalty of the subscribers, since they do not depend on the operator.

The Minzifs called the December “technical” GKRC decision. The Ministry argues that “the introduction of restrictions for the needs of security forces is not an innovation, but a standard practice.” For common users, nothing will change, the decision will not affect the quality of the “as a whole” connection, said the department.
