Scientists in the new study found that women, in general, felt better alone than men. They are more satisfied with their status, their quality of life, the quality of their sexual life, and they are less willing to have a partner. These findings are based on research showing that men fear loneliness more than women and have difficulty meeting the expectations of traditional masculinity.
It also turns out that older single men are happier than younger single men. This is consistent with previous research indicating that people tend to be happier when they are single in the long term after age 40.
Another fact has emerged: Black single women are more willing to find partners than white single women.
