This was announced on his telegram channel by the press secretary of the federal air transport agency Artem Korenyako. This happened against the backdrop of the largest drone attack in Russia since the beginning of the year.

Flights were suspended at the air ports of Kazan, Nizhekamsk, Penza, Samara, Saratov, Ulyanovsk and UFA, it follows from the information of the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency. He later stated that the restrictions were filmed at the airports of Penza, Saratov, Ulyanovsk and Samara.
In addition, on the night of January 24, flights were temporarily banned at the Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky air ports. Korenyako later reported on the lifting of restrictions at these airports.
Last night, Russian regions have been subjected to the largest drone attack since the beginning of 2025. The Ministry of Defense reported that air defense means intercepted and destroyed a total of 121 drones, including 37 over the Bryansk region, 20 over the Ryazan region and 17 over the Kursk region.
Prior to this, the largest drone attack on Russia in 2025 occurred on January 11. Then the Ministry of Defense reported on the confusion of 85 aircraft, including over the waters of the Black Sea, over the Voronezh region and the Krasnodar Territory, as well as over the water area of the Azov Sea.
