The VTB press service “Vedomosti” said that its subsidiary bank is related to the new legislation requirements, which limited the validity of non -residents of the country in the country with one year. At the moment, Kazakhstan’s “daughter” is carrying out the technical preservation of its systems to meet this requirement. The bank will begin to issue cards to non -residents in February, added to a credit institution.
From the message on the Nurbank website, it follows that “temporarily suspended the issue of cards in relation to the realization of technical work.” When the bank begins to issue cards again, it is not specified.
The Halyk Bank and “Banco Eurasia” operators confirmed Interfax-Kazakhstan that these credit organizations have stopped issuing cards to non-residents of the country, but they could not answer the time question for the resumption of the issuance.
Previously, the registration of cards with non -residents suspended Kazakstani Caspi and Home Credit Bank. The first stopped issuing cards for such people for the period from January 19 to February 3, the second, for an indefinite period. In addition, Freedom Bank and Centercredit Bank, but did not suspend their problem, reported the opening rules of opening cards for non -residents.
The restrictions on the validity of non -resident cards introduced in mid -January the Agency for the Regulation and Development of the Kazakhstan Financial Market. The department believes that the accepted measure will reduce the risks associated with the use of banking services for criminal purposes, including drug trafficking and illegal transmission of digital assets.
