According to Downdetector.su, complaints about the problems with Rostelecom’s work began arriving at 10:30 Moscow time. Some 150 users reported a malfunction.

In the “failure. RF”, the number of complaints about problems with operator services approached 500.

The problems with access arose in the subscribers of operators in Chuvashia, they told RB.RU in the Rostelcom press service. According to the operator representative, an “short-term emergency situation” arose in the data transfer network in the region, so the subscribers in the region could have “15-20 minutes” to experience problems with access to Internet. The press service emphasized that the problems in the networks did not affect other regions.

Previously, in January, Rostelecom announced a user data filtration. On the network were the databases of the website Company.RT.RU and ZAKUPKI.ROSTELECOM.RU. The operator recommended that its users recommend restoring accounts passwords and enable two factors authentication.

According to the telegram channel “Information Filtrations”, the Silent Crow Computer Pirates Group assumed Hack’s responsibility. The hackers led the tables as evidence, which contain 154 thousand unique email addresses and 101 thousand unique telephone numbers. Previously, Silent Crow announced the piracy of Rosreestr, Kia Russia and the CIS, Alfastrakhovanie-Life and Alfa-Bank Clubs Club.
