The rumors began in February and March after some premium users faced advertisements due to a technical error. The company then corrected the problem quickly, but the precipitate remained. This time, speculation can be fed by the final announcement of new business vehicles in which some canceled changes in subscription. Spotify said that these innovations are only related to free versions and podcasts where advertising is already acceptable.

In contrast to other services such as Netflix or Prime Video, which adds ads to cheap tariffs, Spotify is still holding the brand. The company made sure it was not planning to change this policy.
