Sales of dishes finished in Russia grew more than 12 months of last year and amounted to 28.8% in annual terms, Adindex reports with reference to the Nielsen study.

Pasta sales (62.1%), vegetable dishes with meat or fish (50.9%), as well as soups and broths (43.3%) increased stronger than the same period in 2023, according to the study. The weakest sales dynamics was shown by perishable salads (19.3%), complex dishes (21.6%) and tests based on the test (24.9%).

At the same time, bakery products (28.9%), perishable salads (25%) and complex dishes (19.5%) were sold in 2024 in 2024.

The results of the Nielsen study also showed that almost half (43.9%) of finished foods are carried out in the Federal Central District. The following are the federal districts of Volga and Northwest (of 14.9% and 12.4%, respectively). Compared to 2023, the largest sales dynamics was demonstrated by the South District (38.5%), Ural (36.6%) and Siberia (31.1%).

The best food was best sold in supermarkets, its participation in relation to 2023 increased by 1.9 percentage points and amounted to 64% among all sales. This is followed by hypermarkets with 21.8%, mini -signs and discounts with 12.9%and 1.2%, respectively. At the same time, from the point of view of sales growth, the best results were shown by DARD-Discount-78.3%.

Previously, analysts of the Data Insight research agency estimated that in 2024 total sales in the Russian Egrocery market (online food and essential goods) increased by 44% per year, 1.2 billion rubles. The number of orders in the Egrocery market reached 788 million, which is 33% more than in 2023, and the average check increased by 9% per year, reaching an indicator of 1,510 rubles.
