The Russian government will create a federal register of long-term construction in the country. Authorities hope that the creation of such a registry will help complete 2,500 of those properties.
"Today we will discuss the creation of a long-term federal building registry, this will strengthen coordination and speed up the work to complete the construction and put such facilities into operation," Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting with his deputies (quoted by TAS).
The chief of staff said that the registry "will collect the necessary information for a reasonable approach to the future destination" of such objects. Among the long-term projects, according to him, there are many social facilities: hospitals, clinics, kindergartens.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin specified that the new registry will work on the analogy of the registry of problematic objects in shared construction. The creation of such a registry will help to complete 2,500 long-term construction projects, which "are in a high degree of preparation."
Now in Russia there is a unified state register of problematic objects (EGRPO). Contains information about objects, the developer of which has violated the deadlines for completing the construction or its obligations for shared construction for more than six months. There are 2.14 thousand objects in the registry.
