The messages about problems began arriving at 10:00 from Moscow. In particular, users complain about internet work problems at home and mobile.

According to Downdetector.su, the peak of complaints occurred at 12:30 Moscow time. At this point, 353 customers of MTS said about problems, network failures amounted to 6.8%. In the “Falla. RF” portal around 12:15 Moscow time, the number of complaints was 296.

In Roskomnadzor, RB.RU explained that the Communications Network Monitoring and Management Center (TSMU SSOP belongs to the RKN) registered a failure in MegaFon infrastructure, which was eliminated by operator specialists in the shortest possible time. In the networks of other RKN operators, I did not observe a failure.

The Forbes source in the field of cybersecurity linked the operator’s failure with the DDOS-Ataka carpet, which was made by the group of “politically motivated computer pirates” (Ukraine with weapons of IT). The interlocutor said that the attack “was productive”, since “there was a degradation of services in International Junction.”
