Onglaisat was delivered to the International Space Station in November and was deployed from the Japanese Kibo module on 10 December. During the mission, the camera system, height control and image processing technology were successfully tested.
The CEO of the Archae from Takayoshi Fukuyo said that although they were made from the ground, the images were as clear as during aircraft photography. The task will end in March, but its technology will be used in future projects.
