According to the prosecutor’s office, Shabutdinov created an organized criminal group. Its participants “using aggressive marketing and an active advertising campaign” were sold to customers “supposedly educational programs, courses, training, web seminars,” according to the report.

Shabutdinov coordinated the actions of the accomplices, wrote the texts of training and contracts or offers for the provision of educational services to create a false impression of the legality of the activity and its character of civil law, said the prosecutor’s office.

According to her, 113 people were injured by the actions of the organized group, which paid 60 thousand to 12 million rubles per courses. Total damage exceeded 57 million rubles. “After Shabutdinov’s presentation of more than 280 volumes of the criminal case, it will be sent to the court for consideration on merits,” said the department.

Shabutdinov – Blogger, serial entrepreneur, founder of Coffee Like Cafe Network, such as Hostel Hostels and Like Center Educational Company. In November 2023, he was arrested in Moscow under suspicion of fraud in the sale of educational courses. The businessman does not admit his guilt.

In June 2024, five more criminal cases were instituted against Shabutdinov, for which up to 10 years in prison.
