Only 8% of the Russians agree to pay for access to sites and blogs without advertising. Such data are given by the Romir research company. The majority – 92% – prefers free content with advertising blocks.
According to the study, 79% of the participants receive the required fee for free access to ad information. More than 80 % understands that there is advertising revenue that allows media, bloggers and application developers to continue to work.
At the same time, 18% of the participants allow alternative money -making models – sponsorship and voluntary donations. However, each four cannot clearly explain how content producers can exist without advertising.
Interestingly, 88% of the survey participants see an important tool for the development of small businesses in advertising. More than half (64%) accepts its impact on consumer decisions.
