The general director of the Akinina Alina Patent explains the decrease in the number of applications with the growth of patent tasks. According to her, the number of applications of self -employed and small and medium -sized companies was especially reduced. It turned out to be “more price sensitive”, especially in the conditions to increase the key rate last year, said the expert.

However, throughout 2024, the number of requests from Russian entrepreneurs increased by 10.8%, for a value of 259 thousand in the first quarter, there was an increase of 33.4%year for the year, in the second, in 16 , 7%, and in the third – for 8%.

In some sectors, the trend is especially remarkable: the number of applications for trademarks in the field of clothing decreased by 16.4%, in cosmetics and perfumes, by 38%and in drinks, in 18%.

The government decrees on the increase in tasks in the trademarks registry entered into force in October. The amount of the tasks (to send an application, examination, enter the state registry and issue a certificate) increased by 13%, of 31 thousand rubles, and a 30% discount was canceled electronically, which has worked since 2017 years .
