There is not a single monobrand store in the regions. The company did not reveal the reasons for the closure and plans for the remaining five points.
The fair clothing brand was originally positioned as an uniqlo analogue that left the Russian market. The first Just Clothing stores opened in the summer of 2023, even in the squares in the shopping centers that uniqlo previously occupied.
After the departure of international brands in Russia, there was a period of expansion and experiments, so many networks took the development of new brands, and the market finally turned out to be oversaturated, said Olga Shteinberg, editor of the media industry of communication Vedomosti. In addition, important marketing investments were needed, and companies that could not assign money were forced to close, explained the expert.
According to the managing partner of Vanchugov and Partners, Alexei Vanchugov, many companies expected that, due to empty shelves, the Russians buy things of any level, so they did not pay due attention to the quality of clothing and variety.
