“Scooter” will prove the delivery of products with drones

Aer -Cores will deliver orders to the postmates located in several areas of Togliatti. If the client address is in the test area, then you can choose the delivery to the nearest postmate in the application. The delivery time will be up to 30 minutes, and must collect the order within three hours.

The weight of the order will be limited to 5 kg, and in the assortment there will be products that do not require special storage conditions. For example, the drone can be delivered lemonade, drop and snack packaging, said the company.

Now the “Scooter” chooses transport runners and discusses how to combine delivery with the city’s traffic and logistics. The plans are to bring it to places where consumers would receive orders.

In Russia, some companies have already used aerial fixation. In 2014, technology was tested by Dodo Pizza. In 2021, Wildberries proved the delivery of drones to regions difficult to reach. With the unmanned movement of plots in several inaccessible regions, the Russian position is experiencing. The Ministry of Economic Development in January decided to extend this experiment for three years.

“Scooter” can begin with the unmanned delivery of groceries, canned food, snacks and drinks, said Mikhail Burmistrov, general director of Infoline Analytics. Potentially, aerial recovery can take several tens of the percentage of the total delivery market for Russian products, is admitted by Nikolai Ryashin, the general director of Rusronport (with him, the “scooter” is negotiating the delivery of goods by drones). But this is not yet a replacement for the messenger in the center of the city, which will take the load at a distance of several kilometers for 100-150 rubles, adds the expert.
