2gis launched the function of joint trips with the transmission of friends location

The company pointed out that the new function is especially useful in the framework of short trips, trips or commercial events, when “you need to coordinate on the march, but I do not want to add all friends forever.” The option allows you to establish a restriction in the duration of the trip, and after its completion, the information in this regard will disappear automatically with the users.

The function is available according to the Go button in the “Friends on the card” section, allows you to activate the general trip that lasts 24 hours, 3, 7 or 14 days, as well as share a link to the trip through any messenger . In addition, all participants of the created trip, and not only those in friends will be seen on the map.

A travel participant can hide their location at any time or complete the trip earlier than expected. In addition, from the event event, you can add to your friends from your other participants.

Previously, on January 27, “2gis” added the payment of public transport in the application using a tied bank card. The project is launched in pilot mode and so far it is only available in Kostroma, but in the future it will extend to other cities.

In October, 2gis could pay for a paid parking lot: when a browser travels, the application will inform the driver about the need to pay a place. Until now, the function only works in St. Petersburg, but the service press service indicated that “they are ready to develop it in other cities.”
