According to the source, Google expressed his concern that possible measures, including the sale of individual parts of the company, may harm the US economy and national security. The Google representative confirmed the reality of the negotiations, stating that the company regularly interacts with regulators and discusses the details of antimonopol processes.

The Ministry of Justice has not yet made an official comment on this issue. However, the department proposed a number of possible decisions within the framework of the antimonopol case in Google search. These include the sale of the Chrome browser and the end of agreements with the default search engine on Google Apple devices.

Forensic hearings on possible measures will begin in April and the final decision is expected to be in August.
