Previously, in November, the FCC allowed SpaceX to use T-Mobile Partner frequencies on the 7500 Starlink Gen2 satellites to addition from the Space (SCS) service.
However, the decision to increase capacity due to the fears of competitors, including Verizon and AT & T, was postponed because it would intervene in land networks.
SpaceX has proven that the signal supplement would not lead to harmful parasites, and the FCC rightly accepted it because it will develop urgent communication and internet access in challenging areas.
Now the service is working in test mode for all US operators and will be paid since July. Approximately 500 out of more than 7,000 Starlink satellites are already equipped with transmitters for communication with smartphones.
