Geekbench showed that Z Fold 7 was equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 elite processor – a powerful chip used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The OpenCL test gave an impressive result – 18,143 points indicating high graphic performance. The smartphone was tested with 12 GB of RAM, but there is no detail about other features.

Android 16 promises advanced optimization and new functions, and a UI 8.0 will probably add support for widgets on the blocking screen and develop multiple task control. With the release of Android 16, the release of Z Fold 7 is expected in July.

This may mean that Samsung will miss a UI 7.X Ara UP for some devices, including the Galaxy S24, and will immediately go to an UI 8.
