The facility is not for the first time at the center of business disputes. In February, the workers organized a settled strike due to the suspension of their colleagues. Before that, in September 2023, hundreds of employees went on strike for five weeks and tried to increase wages. Samsung later made concessions, but the union still accuses activists of pressure on the activists.
