The installation is based on the hydrogen electrochemical method that significantly reduces the formation of harmful carbon compounds. Unlike traditional methods in which carbon monoxides are often formed, it uses two -function catalysts that minimize the concentration of carbon monoxide in the mixture of new technology and hydrogen.
These catalysts effectively convert hydrocarbon components such as dimethyl ether and methanol into gas containing hydrogen with an extremely low CO level that directly affects the increasing efficiency of the installation. Through this process, scientists were able to obtain a high degree of hydrogen purification with more than 75%energy efficiency.
In addition, the developed installation can also work as a fuel element that produces electricity.
