The basis for the development of AI in the country is the national strategy by 2030 approved by the president. However, the Ministry believes that it is not enough to create a combined regulation system. The new law is designed to explicitly define the rules for the implementation of AI, especially in the priority sectors of the economy.
The document stressed that the current strategy has already determined the technology development vector. However, without a separate legislative action, it is difficult to consider all the nuances, including protecting the rights of citizens and minimizing the risks associated with the AI’s implementation. The bill should adapt to developers’ approaches to responsibility, transparency of algorithms and ethical norms.
