The vulnerability allows attackers to use an error in the processor forecast system to access the memory of other users in the same chip. This looks like an old Spectre vulnerability, which was first reported for more than seven years ago.
Intel released a micro code update to protect against this problem recorded as CV-2024–45 332.
In parallel, the Vusec group from Amsterdam announced the Solo Education Solo’s similar security vulnerabilities that allow you to read the memory of the core (operating system) with the high speed and jump protection between users and virtual machines. This vulnerability is called CV-2024−28 956 and CV-2025-24 495.
