The analysis was performed without using physiological data or information about the behavior of a car – on the basis of just ways and videos. This is the first project in which AI evaluates the level of stress only based on visual data. The model analyzed the intensity of traffic, the presence of pedestrians, the characteristics of urban development and road facilities.

The results showed that pedestrians are the most stressful, especially large vehicles such as trucks, as well as transitions. Additional voltage road signs are created by advertising shields and other visual stimuli. All of this increases the load attributed to the attention of the driver and complicates the perception of the road condition.

The developed system may become the basis for creating assistants that will monitor such elements in real time and to warn the driver potentially about stressful situations. In addition, this data can be used to improve urban planning: reviewing the organization of intersections, placeing advertising and road navigation.
