The new analysis showed that women who drink coffee with caffeine in middle age have higher probability of aging. At the same time, scientists could not find the connection between caffeine and tea or coffee before aging, and further use of Cola was associated with a lower chance of healthy aging.
47,513 women from nurses’ Health Research Project joined the new job. Data on nutrition and health conditions have been collected since 1984. Scientists have been defined as healthy aging, 70 years of age and over, 11 basic chronic diseases, protection of physical activity, good mental health, lack of cognitive deterioration and memory.
After 30 years of observation of women, experts estimated how the possibility of healthy aging for every 80 mg caffeine consumed by the participants per day. Coffee, tea, caffeinated coffee (240 ml per glass) and pile (360 ml per glass) drinks were examined.
For women without healthy aging, every additional cup of coffee per day was associated with an increase in the chance of being good in further life. To do this, they can drink five small cups per day or about 2.5 cups according to today’s standards.
There was no significant connection between the use of coffee or tea without caffeine and a healthy aging. At the same time, each additional small soda was associated with a decrease of 20-26%in the chance of healthy aging.
According to researchers, in general, two cups of coffee a day – a safe and convenient amount for most people.
