The Russian investment holding Kismet Capital Group announced the purchase of 100% of Avito’s shares for 151 billion rubles. The company has confirmed readiness.

Kismet Capital Group bought all of Avito’s shares from Naspers, a South African holding. Financing of transactions and settlements for unorganized consortium of banks headed by Rosselkhozbank. The deal is in its final stages.

The new owner received permission from the Federal Antimonopoly Service and the Government Commission for Control over Foreign Investments in Russia.

After the closure, Avito will be a transporter in Russia, as an IT company. Avito’s top management and CEO Vladimir Pravdiv continues to lead the service.

Kismet Capital Group is a private Russian investment group founded in 2016. It is owned by Ivan Tavrin, who previously headed MegaFon. [Авито]
