According to the expert, neither the government nor the providers should be afraid of surveillance as they deal with most of the user data. Therefore, total surveillance in 24/7 mode simply does not happen.

However, some data providers need to collect it. All ISPs are required by law to collect some user information and keep it for 30 days. But this information does not apply to an exact description of the sites visited by the user, such data is stored in logs – special lists with URLs and IP addresses of servers.

In addition, providers store customer search queries within 30 days and, if necessary, can transfer them to government agencies on demand.
