The launch took place on June 14 at Zyutsyuan Cosmodrome in the Missile, which was length of 2 March. Satellite was created in cooperation with Italy and Austria. It is an improved version of the CSES-1 device released in 2018.
In addition to the electrical and magnetic fields of the world, the CSES-2 will observe anomalies before earthquakes, volcanic explosions, storms and other natural disasters. It is equipped with nine scientific devices, including sensors developed by China, Italy and Austria.
The device is displayed in a sunny synchronous orbit at a height of approximately 507 km and is designed to operate for six years.
