Previously, the drones were used by Karelia Police for ordinary visual observation, but the operator quickly got tired and the event decreased. With the introduction of nervous networks, the situation has changed – the system helps to analyze video flow and help to emphasize potentially important objects, helping to reduce the burden on a person.
With this approach, it is possible to direct the search groups more accurately to the right areas under the conditions of a limited number of employees. The nervous network quickly processes data from the drones and helps to decide quickly.
The effectiveness of the technology has already been confirmed: the first lost people were found. The experience gained in Karelia is already distributed to other parts of the country.
The NTI Foundation began to convey the neural network not only to the units of the Ministry of the Interior, but also with the structures of the Ministry of Emergency Search and Emergency Situations, including Lisaalet. Now the system is tested and scaled at the federal level for more use throughout Russia.
