Machine learning (ML) technologies have been added to the official RuStore app store, the company told RB.RU. Now users can search for apps using neural networks, and artificial intelligence (AI) will also make recommendations and compile selections.

According to VK, the developer of RuStore, ML is most often used in search to return the necessary applications. The system analyzes the first few letters entered by the user and suggests popular applications or games based on similar queries.
Machine learning technologies will also create personalized selections of apps and games. The system impersonally analyzes the settings of different users and creates a selection of similar services.
When making recommendations, neural networks take into account the number of app installations and launches, the presence of reviews, the frequency of updates, and other parameters. Recommended selections include both popular games and recently released projects.
