Tesla CEO Elon Musk has told investors that the company hopes to acquire the Cybertruck in the middle of next year. Tesla spotted a peak in 2019 and planned to start production in 2021, but then the launch was pushed back to 2022.

Musk said that Tesla has problems with the production of the company’s already released cars. As an example, he cited a factory in Shanghai, which was repeatedly closed due to COVID-19.

Elon Musk is now saying that Tesla could start deliveries of the Cybertruck in mid-2023.
